He hesitates when Meg is sent to fight IT all on her own, but he figures that it is the only thing that they can do. Mrs. Murry finally reunites with her husband at the end of the book, and is overjoyed. Charles Wallace gets hypnotized by IT, but Meg helps him get out of the control.
